Your day has come, the painters will be here tomorrow, and you're worried that the house isn't ready for them. Should I move things? Take things down off the wall? Do I move the furniture? Well I'm here to tell you that you are in good hands and I'll answer all of your questions today!
At Fine Edge Painting, we believe a painting experience should feel smooth, stress-free, and maybe even a little fun. That’s why we've built our process around taking the load off your shoulders—literally.
Here’s what you don’t need to worry about before we show up with our brushes and rollers:
🧱 Any Sort of Hole Repair or Wall Prep - Prepare for interior painting?
Got nail holes, dents, or wall damage? Don’t touch ‘em. Seriously—leave that to us. We’re professionals for a reason, and patching walls is part of the job. You don’t need to pick up a putty knife or sandpaper. Sit back, relax, and let the pros handle it. We’ve got you.
💪 Moving Your Furniture - Not a chance!
Worried about dragging the couch or disassembling your dining room table? Don’t be. We move all heavy items safely and carefully as part of our process. We’ve got strapping young men (and seasoned pros!) ready to do the lifting. We understand not everyone is physically able—or should be expected—to move furniture in their own home. We take full responsibility for preparing your home for interior painting and would rather you stay safe and uninjured while we handle the heavy stuff.
🖼️ Wall Hangings, Hooks & What’s Staying - Yes Please!
Please remove pictures, artwork, mirrors, and anything sentimental from the walls before we arrive. If there are hangers you’d like to keep, just pop a little piece of painter’s tape on them—or let us know during the walkthrough. We'll even leave a roll of tape for you to mark what stays and what gets repaired. Easy as that.
🧼 Clean-Up (You Shouldn’t Have to Lift a Finger) - You?!
Yes, painting can get messy—we won’t lie. But we do our absolute best to keep things clean throughout every step of the process. And here's the best part: every Fine Edge project includes a free full deep clean at the end. You’ll come home to freshly painted walls and spotless floors, baseboards, and surfaces. You should never have to clean up after your painters—and with us, you won’t.
In Short? Just Open the Door. We’ll Handle the Rest. We don’t expect our clients to prep like pros. You called us to do the job—and we make sure it’s done right, from the first patch to the final cleanup.
